Well, as much as I wanted to keep up with my blog, I have been failing. My last post was in March and it is now September. SEPTEMBER!!! Adeline's birth month! How could this be?!?! I seriously feel like I was just in the hospital giving birth and my sweet baby girl will be one in a few short weeks. I realized today that I am getting very emotional about this. Today was not my best day. Both of my babies have been sick and not sleeping well. Now I have caught their bug. They went to the Dr., who told us Adeline had the beginning stage of an ear infection, in her right ear. And Hudson possibly had croup, but was already getting over it. Adeline got Amoxicillin to treat the infection. She loves it! She has had Children's Motrin a time or two and spit it out, but she sucks the Amoxicillin right up. Hudson weighed 29.5lbs at the appointment and Adeline was 19lb 2oz. They are growing like weeds!
I have been working on Adeline's first birthday party. The theme is Bubbles and the colors are pink and aqua, like her room. I made her a little tutu tonight to wear at her party and for her photo session, tomorrow. We are having her 12mo photos taken at Reynolda Gardens, in Winston Salem, by my friend Shelly Majoy. I am excited for the session!
